That is why the Japanese carmaker is keen on re-introducing the Insight hybrid vehicle once more. Honda Insight was a hybrid electric car that was launched twice in different setups and it was last manufactured in 2014. Now, the industry buzz is that Honda is re-launching the model and a test vehicle has been spotted in recent times.

The test vehicle for third generation Honda Insight has been spotted several times and now the spy shots are available in the web. It is not clear as to what styling will be retained in the production version from the images posted online. However, it looks like the vehicle will have some design resemblances with the existing Honda city sedan. The final version may retain hatchback styling given the fact Honda already has a few hybrid sedans in its lineup. It is not known if it will have a few trims or not.

Nothing is official about the power train to be used in the upcoming Insight. It will be sold as a 2019 model. However, it may get an engine already being used in the Accord hybrid.
