When it comes to style, nothing attracts more attention than choppers. Bike enthusiasts love to gawk at these low-slung chrome covered creations. So, it’s no surprise that Honda is launching a new 2018 Honda Fury. The Japanese manufacturers have established performers and their products don’t disappoint. So, expect this new chopper to debut world markets with substantial momentum.

Motor magazines and spy websites claim that this latest Honda stallion sports a couple of subtle design changes. The Honda engineers will look to enhance power output and ride handling; which are both critical for attracting younger riders.

So, new buyers can expect a slightly upgraded version with some added features.

2018 Honda Fury – Is this Year’s Version more Powerful?

Honda officials are keeping this project secretive. So, there is no concrete information about what engine options this motorcycle will adorn. But many bike experts claim that Honda will not tweak with their new product’s Powertrain.

So, new buyers will have a more or less unchanged engine setup which is:

  • A 1312cc liquid-cooled V-twin set up power plant which generates close to 70 hp at 4400 RPM
  • Torque numbers are around 80 lb-ft. or more.

This setup will probably merge with a 5-speed automatic transmission; which enables smoother power delivery. Other notable attributes in the Honda Fury 2018 include an efficient pre-programmed Fuel Injection System and a single pin crankshaft.

What about Handling?

Riding around in a 6-foot long chopper is not easy. So, Honda will include a better barking setup; which houses a 336 mm front disc brake and a 300mm rear disc specimen. This will work in tandem with an improved rear suspension framework.

This product will line up against some formidable opponents like Harley Davidson, Yamaha, etc. So, the Japanese will keep costs of this 2018 Fury around $13,000. And as far as release date goes, expect this bike to hit showrooms by early 2018.
