Quite obviously, Honda has introduced its 1970s look alike race bike, the 2018 Honda CB1100 RS.
2018 Honda CB1100 RS – Engine Specifications
The CB1100 RS comes with Honda’s classic inline-4 DOHC engine. This beast delivers a maximum power output of 66kW/7,500rpm with a maximum torque of 91Nm/5,500rpm.
To go deeper, this engine comes equipped with PGM-FI electronic fuel injection. The 1140 cc engine has a bore x stroke setup of 73.5 x 67.2. Compression ratio comes in at 9.5:1. This aluminum engine revs up to 8500rpm.
Looks of a Café Racer
The Honda CB1100 RS 2018 version has rechristened its looks from its previous models with a more macho café racer look. The bike comes with a dimension of 2180 x 800 x 1100mm. The CB1100 RS has a ground clearance of 130 mm, seat height of 795 mm and caster angle of 260.
Further, fuel tank capacity comes in at 16.8 liters. A retro café racer look and powerful engine, this bike gives a rider the joy of natural and relaxed riding position.
Tires and Suspension
This bike offers a hassle free and comfortable ride with a front suspension of 43 mm conventional fork (SDBV) with adjustable spring preload. And a rear suspension of Twin shocks with adjustable spring preload.
Now, the CB1100 RS is known for its well-balanced feature. To maintain this feature, 2018 will come with a 17in x 3.50MT 10-spoke diecast aluminum front wheel and 17in x 5.50MT 10-spoke diecast aluminum rear wheel.
